N.B.: Miller et al., 2010: 801 rejected the placement of Coelotes and allied genera by Wunderlich, 1986: 24 as being more closely related to Amaurobius than to Agelena; Coelotinae F. O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1893: 158 were treated as a separate family Coelotidae by Ono, 2008; transfers of Cryphoeca and Tuberta to the Hahniidae and genera Blabomma, Chorizomma, Cicurina and Mastigusa to the Dictynidae by Lehtinen, 1967.
